Camp Kesem is a national non-profit organization that provides a free week of summer camp to kids with a parent who has, or has had, cancer. Camp Kesem is entirely run by students at FSU; the students raise money, recruit the campers, and work tirelessly all year long to make our camp a reality.
Camp Kesem is completely free to kids who have a parent or primary guardian that has, or has had cancer. Camp Kesem is available to all children in the Tallahassee, North Florida, and South Georgia area between the ages of 6 and 16. Camp Kesem is a secular camp and is open to all children, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, or financial status. Due to the financial burden experienced by families coping with cancer, Camp Kesem is provided completely free of charge to the families it serves.
