At First Step Prep each child’s day is filled with unique and enriching experiences from our educational “Circle Time,” with math and reading readiness, our small group time where children learn skills that prepares them for kindergarten, to our extraordinary “Free Choice” time, where children explore and learn in a developmentally prepared environment. We are confident that the depth of our program surpasses that of other schools in the area.

Our rooms are developed with interesting centers that are frequently changed and updated; for example our, our Art area gives children the opportunity for messy play experiences, such as, playing with putty, play dough, mixing colors with eye droppers, painting and enhancing with glitter, and stencils to make it extra fun. “Dramatic Play” area, is complete with an array of household items to help children enhanced their imaginative play. Children love the experience of our manipulative with lacing beads, putting puzzles together and learning basic skills such as lacing shoelace, tying, buttoning, and zipping. Children also love the special projects that are coordinated with Christmas holidays, Valentines, and Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Come visit us and we will show you even more.

Early Learning | Infant - 2 Years

Infants and toddlers need a safe, nurturing environment to begin exploring the world around them. At First Steps Prep we provide all the support and early education that young children need to learn, grow, and form solid educational foundations..

Pre-School Ages 3 - 5

Children of preschool-age are gaining independence and developing rapidly. Our preschool education programs provide a balance between nurturing preschool-age children and encouraging exploration of the world around them, while carefully guiding children toward the more structured classroom experiences ahead.

School Ages 4-12 Years

Teachers provide a balance of organized and self-selected activities, all in a positive, supportive atmosphere. Whether relaxing, doing homework or having fun with friends, children thrive and you’ll have peace of mind knowing your child is safe and having fun.
