If you're not familiar with McCord Park, you probably pass it perhaps daily or at the very least weekly. It's located at the intersection of Thomasville Road and Armistead Road. It's one of our hidden gems in plain view to thousands of motorists every day.
For Betton Hills' homeowners, it is a passive neighborhood park filled with wildlife and scenic views in the middle of our growing city. And we plan to keep it that way with an added benefit – A City of Tallahassee Sculpture Garden with limited pieces by nationally recognized artist and Tallahassee native W. Stanley “Sandy” Proctor.
As many of know, Sandy's works are seen around the country from the Florida Governor's Mansion to the White House. He has received the highest honor given to a Florida artist by being inducted into the Florida Artist Hall of Fame.
