Summer Art Camp 2024

Register your child for a week of creative fun in Quincy, FL, just 25 minutes away from Tallahassee, FL!

Summer Art Camp is a perfect opportunity for creative kids to explore their artistic side and unleash their imaginations. Our experienced instructors will guide campers through a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and more. Immerse Yourself in a Day of Creativity: Gadsden Arts and Quincy Music Theatre Unite!

Embark on a day of artistic exploration and musical magic with Gadsden Arts and Quincy Music Theatre. Parents/Guardians, ensure you enroll campers in each camp separately. Additionally, opt for “supervised lunch” on the Gadsden Arts enrollment form for campers proceeding to the theater, subject to availability per 1-week camp session. This full-day camp promises a vibrant fusion of creativity and entertainment. Engage in exciting art projects at Gadsden Arts, followed by a harmonious journey into the world of theatre at Quincy Music Theatre. Unleash your imagination, make new friends, and create lasting memories—it’s a day filled with inspiration and joy! ArtZone

FREE and open to the public every Saturday, 10am-4:30pm. 

The ArtZone is a FREE drop-in art studio that is open to the public for visitors of all ages to come in and get creative! Each month features exciting special projects inspired by our current exhibitions. Come explore painting, printmaking, drawing, collage, & so much more.

Closed for lunch from 1pm – 1:30pm

Presented by the National Hook-up of Black Women – Gadsden Chapter, and the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum, this Reading Corner is an important component of NHBW’s “Reading For Life” initiative which provides free reading materials to children and families in Gadsden County.  We strongly believe that when schools, communities, and families work together to support learning, children succeed in school and throughout life.

Visit the Reading Corner on Saturdays to enjoy reading with your child, and take home a free book!

Come and see if you can find all artworks located on our scavenger hunt! Once completed stop by Visitor Services to collect a prize!

Every Saturday is Family Day at Gadsden Arts is presented by Centennial Bank, in partnership with the National Hookup of Black Women – Gadsden, Art for Children sponsor Bell & Bates Home Center, and Art @ Home Kits sponsor TDS Telecom.


Gadsden Arts Teen Art Council pays art-loving teens $15 per hour to learn about exhibitions on view and careers in the arts, and to develop programming for their peers.
