Unity Child Care Development School
Unity Child Care Development School is a Child Care Center located in Tallahassee, Florida. We are a certified school licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF), and by the Florida Department of Education catering to children as young as 2 years to 12 years of age.
Our child care center was established upon our founder’s unwavering love and passion for children. We started as a humble provider with a humble aim – to positively impact the early life of the little ones, develop loved and motivated learners, and do the honor of being the children’s second family. The trust placed in us by the kids’ parents and guardians is what gave us the idea to pursue our passion and touch more lives.
Today, we are constantly innovating new ways to improve our accommodations as a growing number of enrollees arise. Still, we dedicate care to the very basic value we are known for – attention. At Unity Child Care Development School, no child is left behind. Your children receive the highest amount of attention they are entitled to receive, along with continuous supervision and safekeeping.
We make sure the classrooms are ready for every day’s new fun activities. The vicinity is guarded, and the facility is carefully supervised by a certified staff of teachers and professional child caregivers. We monitor visitor arrival and departure through our active Log-In System. We also have emergency exits in case of emergencies, and we have staff who are rightfully trained in CPR, Pediatric First Aide, and Fire Extinguisher Training.
On top of everything, we treat each child with respect and fairness, without discrimination on the mere basis of religion, color or complexion, parental socio-economic status, ethnicity, age, and handicap. We also ensure zero tolerance for any form of bullying and train each child to communicate with respect and value of worth for the other children.
Our child care curriculum is child-oriented. We give activities based on the developmental readiness of each child and strive to address his/her full potential physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. We also encourage collaboration and participation to hone their values of respect, social responsibility, and honesty. Most importantly, we expose them to hands-on practice, incorporate the tools for self-evaluation, and foster motivation for lifelong learning
