42nd Annual Firecracker 5K and 1-Mile Sparkler Run

The Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend have joined forces to bring you the 42nd Annual Firecracker 5K Race and 1-Mile Sparkler Run at Cascades Park on July 4th, 2025. Both races welcome all runners while the 1-Mile Run is geared towards children. All family and friends are welcome to join us for Tallahassee's largest Independence Day kickoff event. In addition to the race, we will have free kids activities and treats. Details for event registration, packet pick-ups, and more will be shared soon, be sure to mark your calendars!
The event is free to the community, but race participants must pay to register.
5K Runners:
Adults: $30-35 With Shirt/ $25-30 No Shirt
Kids 10 and Under: $13-15 (Shirt is Included at No Charge)
1-Mile Runners:
Adults: $25-30 With Shirt/ $20-25 No Shirt
Kids 10 and Under: $13-15 (Shirt is Included at No Charge)
Early Bird Discounts are offered for registrations through June 19th.
