 ! This free family-friendly event will take place at Tom Brown Park by the 
 dog park near Lake Leon and highlights the service and dedication of Leon C
 ounty’s volunteer firefighters. Families can meet Leon County’s six volunte
 er fire departments, tour fire trucks, and take pictures with the firefight
 ers and trucks. Come out and enjoy free food, music, and activities for kid
 s, including a dunk tank with the volunteer firefighters, bounce houses, fa
 ce painting, giveaways, and more.<br /><br /> <br /><br />At the event, the
  Jack Harron Leon County Volunteer Firefighter of the Year will be announce
 d at 11 a.m. and the winner will be presented with a trophy from the Earl B
 acon Insurance Agency, which has sponsored this event for the past 29 years
