 ild Outside Week by hosting a free, family-friendly outdoor program at the 
 Pebble Hill Learning Center. \n\nHeld annually from September 24–30, Take a
  Child Outside Week encourages children to engage in unstructured outdoor p
 lay while fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural environment. The 
 event at Pebble Hill will feature nature-themed activities, games, and hand
 s-on exploration designed to spark curiosity and creativity. \n\nTake a Chi
 ld Outside Week celebrates opportunities for children to get outdoors and d
 evelop a better understanding of the environment in which they live. We enc
 ourage families to come experience the joy of exploring nature together. Th
 e benefits of outdoor play are well-documented—spending time in nature can 
 reduce stress and anxiety, improve cognitive abilities, and inspire creativ
 ity. \n\nThis year’s event draws inspiration from Richard Louv’s influentia
 l book Last Child in the Woods.
