 hnston Veterans Parade on Saturday, March 14, at 10:45 am ET in Carrabelle,
  FL. This event honors and celebrates our country’s remaining WWII veterans
  as well as recognizes and salutes all veterans from WWII to present. All v
 eterans, their family, friends and the general public are invited to join i
 n this meaningful celebration of our military veterans. \n\n\nCamp Gordon J
 ohnston Museum invites everyone to participate in the parade and there is n
 o cost to be in the parade. Participants do not need any military affiliati
 on to participate, just an appreciation for veterans and the military. \n

 r the foot of the Tillie Miller Bridge. It winds down Hwy 98 and ends at ce
 nter of town at the corner of US Hwy 98 and Tallahassee / Marine Street.\n\
 nCamp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum will be open from 11 am to 5 pm. Guests a
 re encouraged to come and learn the amazing stories of the region’s WWII he
 roes, see the remarkable artifacts. and hear about the vital role the Forgo
 tten Coast played in WWII amphibious operations. \n\nThe Camp Gordon Johnst
 on Parade pays tribute to all veterans of all branches of service. This com
 munity parade will feature vintage museum vehicles like the WWII DUKW, Will
 is Jeep, and German Lieferwagen as well as restored military vehicles from 
 the Military Vehicle Preservation Association and Florida Military Vehicle 
 Heritage Group. In addition, the parade will be joined by several veteran o
 rganizations, motorcycle groups, Shriners clubs, many businesses and commun
 ity organizations. Military and police vehicles, golf carts, classic cars, 
 patriotic walkers, and even some patriotic pets will wind through downtown 
 Carrabelle along US Hwy 98.
