SUMMARY:Storytime Studio: Maybe Something Beautiful
LOCATION:FSU Museum of Fine Arts, 530 West Call St, 250 Fine Arts Building, Tallahas
see, FL
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:We’re welcoming back our monthly kids' event, Storytime Studio! On March 7,
from 10am to 12pm, we will be hosting a children's book reading of “Maybe
Something Beautiful”, followed by a collaborative collage craft session in
the museum.

“Maybe Something Beautiful” was written by F. Isab
el Campoy and Theresa Howell and was illustrated by Rafael López. The book
is based on the Urban Art Trail in San Diego, California, and reveals how a
rt can transform a community space.

During this reading and cr
aft activity, kids and parents will have a chance to connect with one of ou
r current exhibitions, “Akimbo” by Zoë Charlton, which brings together pers
onal history and collective memory to reflect on how identity is shaped by
place.

This event will be geared to our younger artists, but all
ages are welcome to attend. All materials will be provided, and free parki
ng will be available in the Call Street Garage.
