SUMMARY:Big Bend Interfaith Music Productions Presents Lamb of God
LOCATION:Old West Florida Enrichment Center
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:A free concert performance of Rob Gardner's Lamb of God. An oratorio for ch
orus and orchestra telling the Easter story of the devastating arrest and c
rucifixion of Jesus, and his glorious resurrection.\n\n“Lamb of God” is a d
ramatic musical portrayal of the final days of the life of Jesus, from the
foreshadowing raising of Lazarus, to the devastating arrest and crucifixion
of Jesus, and finally to his glorious resurrection. Composed and written b
y Rob Gardner, the story of Jesus is told through the perspective of those
who loved and walked with him: Peter, John, Thomas, Mary and Martha of Beth
any, Mary Magdalene and His Mother Mary.\n\nIt was first recorded 2010 with
the London Symphony Orchestra, and then premiered at Gammage Auditorium in
Tempe, Arizona. The oratorio has since been performed worldwide, reaching
audiences of various faiths and even non-believers. It was also adapted int
o a concert film for the 2021 Easter season, allowing people to experience
