 mazing Angela DeCarlis will be calling the dances, and In Cahoots is conspi
 ring to play us some sensational old-time tunes. \n\nTallahassee community 
 contra dances are in full swing the 2nd and 4th Fridays of most months! Con
 tra dancing is an upbeat, beginner-friendly American social dance for all a
 ges. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner a
 nd do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. Bands and instructo
 rs (“callers”) vary each night. No dance experience is needed and you don’t
  need to bring a partner. Arrive in time for the Beginner Lesson at 7:15, a
 nd by the end of the night, you’ll have danced with everyone in the room! T
 here’s a short break mid-way through the night for sharing snacks and socia
 lizing. Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes.
