DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Join us Friday, August 14th for a fun community contra dance! Tallahassee’s
  talented Tom Greene will be calling the dances to live tunes by The Greasy
  String Band. \n\nTallahassee community contra dances are in full swing the
  2nd and 4th Fridays of most months! Contra dancing is an upbeat, beginner-
 friendly American social dance for all ages. It shares many moves with squa
 re dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long 
 lines to live music. Bands and instructors (“callers”) vary each night. No 
 dance experience is needed and you don’t need to bring a partner. Arrive in
  time for the Beginner Lesson at 7:15, and by the end of the night, you’ll 
 have danced with everyone in the room! There’s a short break mid-way throug
 h the night for sharing snacks and socializing. Wear comfortable clothes an
 d flat shoes.
