 ote the message that individuals with Down Syndrome possess a wide range of
  abilities and are active participants in the community. Our local walk by 
 Down Syndrome Foundation of Tallahassee has proven to be a premier advocacy
  event for the Down Syndrome community. <br /><br />Join us for the Down Sy
 ndrome Foundation of Tallahassee’s Annual Buddy Walk® and Family Fun Day. I
 n addition to the Walk, there will be fun activities for the whole family i
 ncluding music, live entertainment, a medal ceremony, face painting, carniv
 al games, and exhibits. All activities are free and open to the public.<br 
 /><br />The Buddy Walk®, a one-mile advocacy walk around Pedrick Pond will 
 demonstrate support of the acceptance and inclusion of people with Down Syn
 drome. Children and adults with Down Syndrome, along with their families, f
 riends, and local supporters take part in the celebration each year.
