TIPS For Parents Spring Parenting Group

Hello everyone! We are beginning our recruitment for our FREE Spring Parenting group! The “TIPs for Parents” Parenting Group at Florida State University is a group of trained Marriage and Family Therapy clinicians offering a FREE trauma-informed parenting group for parents with children between 5-10 years old. Our goal is to help parents better understand themselves and connect more with their child(ren).

Here is more information about our program:
- It is an 8-week program starting January 16th through March 5th
- We will meet for approximately 1.5 – 2 hours every Tuesday night from 5:30PM – 7PM on Florida State’s campus (exact time to be coordinated with interested participants)
- We highlight a new topic each week, including topics such as child communication and emotion regulation
- Parents will be asked to complete 2 interviews and 3 surveys.
- Our parenting group will be offered in the Spring of 2024.
