Come join us for the Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival Wiggle Worm Fun Run! This family-friendly event, which officially kicks off the 22nd Annual Sopchoppy Worm Grunting Festival, is a 1.4 mile Fun Run/Walk that meanders through historic downtown Sopchoppy, Florida. Walkers and runners are both welcome!
Early registration (on or before March 20) is $15 and includes a race T-shirt. Late registration (March 21 to day of race) is $20 and includes a race T-shirt (if available). Children 12 and under are $10 (both early and late) and there is also a $10 no T-shirt option on the day of the race. Awards will be given to the first three adult men and and first three adult women to cross the finish line, and also to the first three 12 and under girls and first three 12 and under boys to cross the finish line. All registrants will receive a fuzzy worm necklace!
Day of race registration will begin at 7am, and the Fun Run will begin at 8am. Participants can come dressed in your best “worm” attire, or normal race wear. The race will start at the intersection of Rose Street and Orange Avenue, and finish at the intersection of Rose Street and Summer Street. We hope to see you there!
