I have never forgotten the message shared with me by an esteemed Professor during my first year of medical school many years ago. The thought of being a caring physician rather than strictly a clinician immediately struck a chord with me. This ideal has continued to serve as my core value when working together with my patients. Throughout my career as a Family Physician, I have enjoyed getting to know my patients, listening to their personal histories, and learning their individual concerns. In addition to diagnosis and treatment, my role is to educate, coach, and support my patients through the full spectrum of their personalized care. Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

After valve replacement surgery I was given a prescription at the hospital that altered my personality. After a short phone call, Dr. Serio pinpointed the unnecessary medication and advised me on it’s possible drawbacks. I was back to normal in less than a day.

I love Dr. Serio. He takes time with his patients, he gets to the core of your problems if he can't fix you he will see to it that you are referred to a surgeon. I feel blessed that I met him. I have been seen by Dr. Serio for just over a year. In my 49 years I have never had a more knowledgeable and patient Doctor. He never seems rushed or distracted like so many other Dr's in my life. He has been a huge prayer answered.

I was a Patient of Dr. Thomas Serio From 2010 until 2015 When I Moved To Indiana and I was Always No Matter What May have been going on with Dr. Serio or Going on in the Office the particular day I was there for my every 3 months appointment he was never In Any Way The kind of Doctor that I felt was preoccupied with the other Patients in the office no matter how many there may have been he took the time he needed to with me and made sure there wasn't anything that I May have had that had come up since my last visit even if I didn't mention anything he'd always be asking me if there's anything I was sure I hadn't had happen since my last visit that might be of interest or Importance to my health and there aren't very many doctors that are left who I feel are going to be the same way Dr. Thomas Serio has always been and I hope he has a lot more great years of Being Able to Take wonderful care of His Patients in Tallahassee FL and I can definitely say I would not hesitate to recommend Him as The Best Family Practice / Chronic Care Pain Management Doctor I have ever had and I wish him nothing but happiness and success no matter how many more years he decides to Stay in Practice Thanks For Being a Wonderful Doctor To Me and for many others as well. $1800 Annual Membership Fee must be paid just so you can get an appt. with him as your primary Doctor. That's over and above any insurance you have. What a travesty of healthcare. Despicable! I was told by his office I had to join MDVIP to get an appt.

We love him, he is super with both my husband and me, we were dropped without notice by Dr Serio after he failed in his treatment of my husband. Initially we were called into his office given one month supply of medical, both of us over 60, and told not to return. Beware of any promise by any doctor who tells you not to worry, they will care for you. Maybe being tossed from a general establishment is not stressful, but a physisian you have had for many many yesrs? No.

I am very pleased with my 20+ years patient experience with Dr. Serio and his staff. Every is very friendly as well as professional. I always feel like I’m dealing with people I trust. I always get plenty of time to explain my issues and I never feel rushed. I am always satisfied when leaving his office. Dr. Serio takes the time to explain things carefully and makes sure I fully understand. If you are expecting to get in and out quickly then you are not getting what you are paying for in any doctor or medical experience. My blood pressure was out of control for over two years, even though I went to see a cardiologist and my Doctor at the time. Within 60 days after seeing Dr. Serio, my BP was under control. I feel a lot better. thanks to Dr Serio.

This practice is very responsive. You always get the attention needed when you have health issues and preventive health is a big plus. I recommend this practice to anyone in Tallahassee. I received a recent diagnoses and the treatment prescribed was right on. Felt better the following day. Dr Serio and his staff are very knowledgeable.
