The Firecracker 5k and 1-mile Sparkler fun run is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held yearly on the 4th of July at Cascades Park in Tallahassee to assist the Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend.

- On-Site Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.
- 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m.
- 5K Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
- Awards Ceremony to follow at 9:00 a.m. (as results are tabulated)

Cost:
Registration fees accommodate for families by offering discounted fees for children and committed runners and offering discounts for registration without shirts. Discounts are also offered for sponsors, local fitness group's, Firecracker Couch to 5k Runners, and various clubs. If you're not sure if your group has a discount or if you'd like to discuss receiving a discount for your group, please contact us via the "contact us" form.
