The Emerging Pharmacist Summer Camp is designed to expose high school students, grades 10-12, to the role of a pharmacist and the requirements of this career path. Students will have the opportunity to discuss college plans with current pharmacy learners and pharmacists. This also serves as a recruitment tool for the College of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Institute of Public Health.
Additionally, campers will be given the opportunity to enhance their math, science and presentation skills. This will be achieved through lab experiments, presentations and field trips led by faculty, staff and alumni.
