School of Arts and Sciences Charter Schools

The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) operates two tuition-free public charter schools in Tallahassee serving students in kindergarten through 8th grade. SAS uses a distinctive multi-age, project-based curriculum that integrates the arts and sciences across subject areas and emphasizes inquiry, critical thinking, hands-on learning and student growth.

Students learn in multi-age classrooms and participate in interdisciplinary projects, hands-on science, environmental learning, music, visual and performing arts, and other enrichment opportunities.
