Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts

Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts (ATMSA) provides students with a rigorous elementary education enriched through purposeful integration of the arts. Established in 1999 as Leon County’s first elementary magnet school, ATMSA uses arts-based learning to help students develop creativity, critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning.

Students have opportunities to explore visual art, chorus, musical theatre, media, gardening and other creative experiences while completing a state-approved core academic curriculum. The magnet program is open to eligible Leon County elementary students through the School Choice process.
