The Magnolia School is a private, nonprofit K-8 school in Tallahassee offering small, multi-age classrooms and an active, theme-based approach to learning. The school emphasizes individualized instruction, experiential learning, creativity, collaboration, and helping students learn how to think rather than what to think.
Students learn in K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 classroom groups with a low student-teacher ratio. Curriculum integrates language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, nature, and project-based learning while recognizing that children learn in different ways and at different rates.
Magnolia is a full-inclusion school and offers scholarship opportunities, including Step Up For Students. Before- and after-school care are also available.
