American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) Scholarships

The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) Scholarship Program supports graduating high school students pursuing education and careers related to the energy industry. AABE awards more than $350,000 in scholarships each year through local chapter, regional and national scholarship programs.

Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA, plan to major in an approved field such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics or business, and intend to enroll in an accredited college, university, technical school or trade school following graduation. Applicants should also demonstrate leadership and involvement in their community.

Scholarship opportunities and award amounts may vary by local chapter and region. The application window for the 2026-27 scholarship cycle opens in November 2026.
