Bay Building Industries Association (BBIA) Scholarship

The Bay Building Industries Association (BBIA) offers scholarships to students pursuing education and careers in construction, the building trades and related fields such as architecture and engineering.

Eligible applicants may be entering or returning students at an accredited college or Tom P. Haney Technical College and must be accepted for enrollment and attend at least half-time. Scholarship awards are based on available funds, and applicants affiliated with BBIA or its member businesses receive priority.

At Haney Technical College, preference may be given to programs including welding, electrician training, computer systems and information technology, and air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.

The 2026-27 application period has closed. Applications for the 2027-28 school year are expected to become available in January 2027.
