The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) offers a variety of scholarships to high school, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing higher education in the United States.
Scholarship opportunities cover fields including American history, government, education, nursing, medicine, science, law, music, English and other areas of study. Eligibility requirements and award amounts vary by scholarship, and most DAR national scholarships do not require applicants to be DAR members or descendants of DAR members.
Applicants for DAR national scholarships must generally be U.S. citizens and attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. The online scholarship application period runs from November 1 through January 31 each year.
Applicants complete a general online application and are then matched with scholarships for which they may qualify.
