Farm Credit of Northwest Florida’s AgVocator Scholarship Program supports students pursuing education and careers connected to agriculture and rural communities.
Applicants must reside within Farm Credit of Northwest Florida’s service territory, which includes Leon, Wakulla, Gadsden, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Taylor and other Northwest Florida counties. Public, private and homeschool students are eligible, and preference is given to students involved in 4-H or FFA.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on academics, leadership, community and agricultural involvement, and their plans to contribute to agriculture or rural communities. Recipients pursuing an agriculture-related field must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, and the primary scholarship recipient also participates in a paid Farm Credit internship during their junior or senior year of college.
For the 2026 scholarship cycle, Farm Credit awarded one scholarship of up to $20,000 and two additional $2,000 scholarships. The 2026 application period is now closed; families should check the program website for the next application cycle.
