

The Fisher House Foundation Scholarships for Military Children Program provides college scholarships to eligible children of military service members.
Applicants must be unmarried military dependent children under age 23 with a valid Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card. Their parent or sponsor must be active duty, reserve/guard, deceased or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard or Space Force.
Students must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in an undergraduate bachelor’s degree program or in a community/junior college program designed for direct transfer to a four-year school. High school applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, while college applicants must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
For the 2027-28 academic year, 500 scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded. At least one scholarship is awarded at each commissary location where qualified applications are received, with additional awards distributed based on the number of applicants.
Applications for the 2027-28 academic year open in December 2026.
