

The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) Scholarship provides four-year financial assistance and comprehensive support to academically talented high school seniors who demonstrate financial need, leadership potential and a commitment to community service.
JRF Scholars may receive up to $35,000 in scholarship assistance over four years while participating in a comprehensive college-success program that includes mentoring, leadership development, career guidance, internship and job-placement support, practical life-skills training and opportunities for international study and service.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and U.S. citizens, demonstrate financial need and academic excellence, show leadership potential and dedication to community service, and plan to attend an accredited and JRF-approved four-year college or university. Applicants must also submit an ACT or SAT score.
The 2026-27 application opens September 1, 2026 and is due January 14, 2027 at 5:00 PM ET. The application requires a transcript, one recommendation, college plans, household and financial information, a CSS Profile, activities and distinctions, standardized test scores and three brief essays.
