

The McDonald’s HACER National Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors planning to continue their education after graduation. McDonald’s currently awards $1 million in scholarships to support up to 100 students nationwide.
Applicants must be high school seniors under age 21 with at least a 2.8 GPA and must be U.S. citizens, legal U.S. residents, or DREAMER/DACA recipients. Students must be eligible to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school full-time during the academic year following their selection.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, personal statement, and personal qualities demonstrated during the selection process.
Applications require a transcript, personal statement, letter of recommendation, and list of community service activities. Students selected as semifinalists must also provide their FAFSA Submission Summary.
