National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) Scholarships

The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors with documented learning disabilities who are pursuing post-secondary education and career goals.

The Anne Ford Scholarship provides $10,000 over four years ($2,500 per year) to a graduating high school senior who will enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program.

The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship provides $5,000 over two years ($2,500 per year) to a graduating high school senior who will enroll in a two-year community college, vocational or technical training program, or specialized post-secondary program for students with disabilities.

Applicants must have a documented learning disability, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia or another qualifying specific learning disability. Students who also have ADHD or another disability may apply, but a documented learning disability is required.

Financial need is considered in the selection process. Applications require documentation of the student’s learning disability, academic and family information, FAFSA information, at least one recommendation and responses to personal questions.
