Naval Helicopter Association Scholarship Fund (NHASF)

The Naval Helicopter Association Scholarship Fund (NHASF) provides scholarships to eligible students and military-affiliated applicants pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees or trade certificates.

Applicants generally qualify through membership in the Naval Helicopter Association (NHA). The applicant, spouse, parent or grandparent must be an eligible NHA member in good standing for the required period, although exemptions are available for certain active-duty enlisted personnel, first-tour service members and their families.

Scholarships are available for undergraduate, graduate and trade-certificate education and may be awarded through NHA regional, corporate and memorial scholarship programs. Florida applicants, except those in Escambia County, are part of NHA Region Three.

Applications for the 2027 scholarship cycle open September 1, 2026. New applications must be submitted by January 26, 2027, with all required transcripts and recommendation materials due January 31, 2027.
