Early Learning Coalition of Big Bend -VPK Registration

Florida’s free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program helps prepare children for kindergarten and future school success. To be eligible, children must reside in Florida and be 4 years old on or before September 1. Children whose fourth birthday falls between February 2 and September 1 may enroll that year or wait until the following program year.

Families apply online through Florida’s Early Learning Family Portal. Once approved, families receive a VPK Certificate of Eligibility that can be taken to an approved VPK provider. The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend can assist families with registration, provider information and other VPK questions.
