Homeschool Days at Mission San Luis

Homeschool Days at Mission San Luis offer themed, hands-on history lessons for homeschool students at Tallahassee’s historic Apalachee-Spanish mission site.

Programs are held every other month on third Wednesdays from 10 AM–3 PM and feature themed lesson booklets, crafts, activities and opportunities to learn about the lives of the 17th-century Apalachee and Spanish residents of Mission San Luis. Families should allow approximately two hours to complete the activities.

2026–27 Homeschool Day themes include:
September 16, 2026 – Spanish Fine Arts and Crafts
November 18, 2026 – Apalachee Fine Arts and Crafts
January 20, 2027 – Economics and Trade
March 17, 2027 – Archaeology
May 19, 2027 – Historic Preservation

No pre-registration is required. Regular site admission applies.
