Letchworth-Love Mounds Archaeological State Park

Letchworth-Love Mounds Archaeological State Park protects Florida’s tallest Native American ceremonial mound, built approximately 1,100 to 1,800 years ago. Visitors can learn about the people who created the mound complex through interpretive displays and explore a half-mile trail that passes the main mound and several smaller mounds.

The park also offers hiking, birding, wildlife viewing and picnicking. A covered pavilion includes interpretive exhibits, and the pavilion and mound viewing platform are wheelchair accessible. Ranger-guided interpretive tours are available for groups by advance request.
