Mother Rising

Lindsey VanAlstyne, LCCE of Mother Rising is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) and trained for many years with Birthing From Within. She's taught in Tallahassee since 2010 at The Birth Cottage, HCA Tallahassee, Verity Midtown, and in private homes around the area.

Lindsey's evidence based and holistic classes go beyond what typical childbirth classes offer. In addition to learning practical, evidence based information, parents deepen their intuitive knowing through thought-provoking dialogues, memorable birth videos, and fun hands-on exercises - learning pain management, practicing laboring positions, and understanding birthing tools like the peanut ball. Lindsey’s birthing classes are also perfect for parents wanting to explore their options during pregnancy, and learn how to advocate for themselves throughout the childbirth.

Lindsey is also a placenta specialist, offering placenta encapsulation to the greater Tallahassee area.
