Leon County 4-H is the youth development program of UF/IFAS Extension, helping young people build leadership, confidence, citizenship, communication, responsibility, and other important life skills through hands-on learning.
Youth ages 5-18 can participate in community clubs, workshops, camps, school enrichment programs, competitions, community service, and county and state 4-H activities. Current club and project areas may include arts and crafts, archery, cooking, STEM and technology, hiking and outdoor recreation, agriculture and animals, gardening, public speaking, leadership, and more.
Community clubs generally meet regularly during the school year, while additional workshops, camps, events, and activities are offered throughout the year. Club locations, schedules, age ranges, and participation requirements vary.
Florida 4-H membership is $20 annually for youth ages 8 and older. Scholarships are available upon request for clubs, workshops, summer camps, state events, and other 4-H activities. Contact Leon County 4-H or visit the website for current clubs and enrollment information.
