National Beta Club

National Beta Club is a school-based youth organization that helps students develop academic achievement, character, leadership, and service. Members participate in school and community service projects, leadership opportunities, club activities, and state and national events.

National Beta serves students in grades 4-12 through three divisions: Elementary Beta for grades 4-5, Junior Beta for grades 6-8, and Senior Beta for grades 9-12. Each school or club establishes its own membership requirements, although students must be performing at or above grade level and demonstrate strong character and achievement.

Several schools in the Tallahassee area offer National Beta clubs. Students interested in joining should check with their school or use the National Beta Club Directory to locate a participating club. Homeschool groups and accredited virtual schools may also establish Beta clubs if they meet National Beta requirements.

Membership requires a one-time national fee, and local clubs may charge additional fees. Graduating Senior Beta members may also be eligible to apply for National Beta college scholarships.
