The National MagLab offers a variety of science education and classroom outreach opportunities for K-12 students and teachers. Programs introduce students to magnetism, electromagnetism, and the cutting-edge science and research taking place at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory.
Virtual classroom outreach allows a MagLab educator to connect with students online for engaging science activities, while prerecorded lessons and educational resources can be used anytime. Additional classroom outreach and science event opportunities may also be available by request.
Programs are designed to provide inquiry-based, hands-on science experiences and can be tailored to the needs of individual classes. Contact the MagLab's K-12 Education Outreach team for current program options and availability.
