St. Francis Wildlife, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 1978 to provide humane care and rehabilitation for orphaned, injured, and sick wildlife in North Florida and public education for our community.
Education programs are invaluable because they foster a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting natural habitats. By educating the public, especially young people, we inspire a sense of responsibility and empower individuals to take action in preserving wildlife. These programs help create a community of informed, compassionate citizens who can make a real difference in the future of our environment and the creatures that call it home.
We regularly participate in public events to engage with the community and raise awareness about wildlife conservation. These events provide opportunities for us to connect with supporters, share information about our mission, and showcase our efforts in rehabilitating and protecting local wildlife. By participating in these events, we foster a deeper understanding of the importance of wildlife care and offer ways for individuals to get involved and make a positive impact!
