Leon County libraries offer a variety of story times for children and babies. Check the website for specific branch schedules.
Baby Story Time: Reading, songs and finger-plays for babies and toddlers (up to 30 months of age) and their caregivers.
Preschool Story Time: Preschool story time is geared toward 2 1/2- to 4-year-olds (other ages are certainly welcome, too). A librarian leads the group in stories, songs and fingerplays. Children typically sit on the ground (i.e. circle time) with parents/caregivers in chairs behind.
Family Story Time: Family story time is geared toward children of all ages and their families. A librarian leads the group in lessons on literature, culture, stories, music, rhymes and more.
