Capital City Youth Services (CCYS) welcomes volunteers who want to support youth and families throughout the Big Bend. CCYS provides guidance, shelter, counseling, outreach, prevention programs, and other services for children, teens, young adults, and families experiencing crisis or instability.
Volunteer opportunities may include helping with community events, outreach activities, youth-focused programs, special projects, and other agency needs. CCYS also provides service and leadership opportunities for local youth through programs such as its Youth Advisory Council.
Volunteer opportunities, schedules, age requirements, and responsibilities vary. Prospective volunteers should complete the CCYS volunteer application and contact the organization for current needs and placement opportunities.
