Leon County Public Library Volunteer Programs

Leon County Public Library offers volunteer opportunities for teens and adults throughout the library system. Volunteers support library staff, programs, collections, and services while gaining experience and giving back to the community.

Opportunities may include shelving and organizing library materials, assisting with book displays and processing, helping with library programs, serving on the Teen Advisory Board, tutoring students through Homework Hub, and assisting at the Main Library or participating branch locations.

Volunteers must generally be at least 12 years old, although some positions have higher age requirements. Applicants must complete the Library Volunteer Application and participate in a virtual or in-person orientation before beginning service.
