07/04: Kiwanis Annual Firecracker 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run

The Firecracker 5k and 1-mile Sparkler fun run is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held yearly on the 4th of July at Cascades Park in Tallahassee to assist the Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend. This year's 5k is a Grand Prix. Registration fee required to participate in Race, free kids activities available to all who attend.

This year's theme is Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Miles!

Time/Schedule:

On-Site Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.
1-Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m.
5K Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
Awards Ceremony to follow at 9:00 a.m. (as results are tabulated)

5k Fees
• Early Bird - $30 through June 19th
• Registration - $40 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day

5k Fees - 12 Years or Younger
All children are at a discounted rate and will receive a t-shirt at no charge.
• Early Bird - $13 through June 19th
• Registration - $15 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day

1-Mile Fees
• Early Bird - $25 through June 19th
• Registration - $35 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day

1-Mile Fees - 12 Years or Under
