First Day Bikes

The Office of Greenways and Trails is partnering with the Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail on First Day Bikes, a cycling-focused event in Tallahassee on Sunday, October 1st, 2023. Join us at the Capital Circle Trailhead of the Tallahassee-St. Marks Trail from 9:00am to 12:00pm for an outdoor expo featuring educational booths, local food trucks, and free bike helmets! Throughout the morning there will also be three scheduled group bike rides to enjoy alongside the expo. Get some fresh air and take the kids for a bike, walk, scooter, skate, or jog on the beautiful Tallahassee-St. Marks State Trail!

Family-friendly group bike ride on the trail starts at 9:00am and will be a total of 3 miles (1.5 miles down and back to the trailhead). This will be a slow, casual ride for all experience levels led by a park ranger.
