NEA Big Read Kickoff

Celebrate the start of the 2024 NEA Big Read featuring "The Bear" by Andrew Krivak during our kickoff celebration at McCarty Park, located outside the Leon County Main Library! Meet with local organizations and enjoy hands-on activities focused on Leon County’s historical past, local ecology, and sustainability for the future. The event will also include a scavenger hunt, Wander and Wonder story walk, and Zap Zap Thai Kitchen and Love Gurlies food trucks.
Free copies of "The Bear" will be available while supplies last.
