Join us for the annual Watermelon Festival, a summertime tradition in Monticello since 1949.

From pageants to parades, bed races and barbecue, this event offers small town fun for the entire family! Our Bed race and Kids Ride on Parade will be on June 7th starting at 6:30pm. We're having a KIDS ride-on parade right after the bed race! Register your kiddo today! Ride-ons must be kid-friendly - bicycles, wagons pulled by parents, scooters, tricycles, or low-voltage powered toys. NO GOLF CARTS PLEASE.
