Join us at the Eastside Branch Library in Tallahassee for another exciting 2nd Saturday!
September 15th marks the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Each year, we celebrate the centuries of history, heritage, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans that continue to shape Florida’s identity. From food, music, and language to the State’s very name, evidence of “La Florida” is everywhere. Join us to learn more, and as part of the program, make and decorate your very own maracas!
Each 2nd Saturday program runs from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is designed for children ages 4 to 8 and their families. This program is FREE and open to the public.
