Flying Pig Watermelon Fest

Join us for our annual Watermelon Fest!!
This four-hour open farm day will be our first big event of the year and we are thrilled to open our gates to our community and for you to meet and learn about our many rescued animal friends. The sanctuary has grown to be home to quite the eclectic menagerie of residents including pigs, goats, donkeys, peacocks, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and Jordy the Tortoise!
As a small non-profit, your support makes a world of difference in our ability to provide lifelong sanctuary to animals in need.
Get to know some of the animals who call FPAS home, play yard games, cool off in the splash zone, and enjoy a watermelon snack in the shade.
We're excited to have K&R Hidden Farms here selling organic and heirloom watermelons! They're big supporters of ours and we're so happy to be partnering with them this year! Buy one to eat, one to take home or one to share with the animals. Our residents enjoy the whole melon or are happy to eat the watermelon rinds while you enjoy the fruit.
Dress for farm fun and a day in the sun! Closed toed shoes are required to be around animals. Hats and sunscreen are encouraged.
