Join us for Nancy McClure’s Story Time in the Gardens!

Meet us at the Visitor Center Pavilion for an original story written by park volunteer Nancy McClure about a gray squirrel named Lightning, who hopes to gather all the squirrels at Maclay Gardens for a reunion feast!

We’ll be talking about:

-WHERE squirrels live
-WHAT they eat
-HOW their behavior helps them survive in their habitat

After the story, stick around for a short nature walk!

The program is suitable for ALL ages. We recommend attendees bring water, sunscreen/bug repellant, and a blanket or chair to sit in the grass
