General Lafayette: Children's Interactive and Bilingual Story Hour at Northeast Branch Public Library

  • When: Saturday, August 3, 2024, 10:30 am - 11:30 am
  • Location: Northeast Branch Public Library, 5513 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312

The Fort San Luis Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) invites children ages 4-7 years and their adult(s) to the Lafayette story hour! Whether your child knows him as the Marquis de Lafayette or as American Major General Lafayette, the “Hero of Two Worlds” has a story. This free, interactive story hour is being presented by Anna Burnley and will be read in both English and French. Children ages 4-7 years are invited and must be accompanied by their adult(s). After the story, children will be invited to color an image of the French flag, which Lafayette designed.
